Linux

It is a requirement for 85321 that all students have access to a computer running Linux. The following describes what version of Linux you should obtain.

Which Version

It is suggested you have a version of Redhat Linux

The latest version of Redhat Linux is 7.0. We suggest you have the latest version.

Older versions of Redhat, no older than 6.2, are acceptable.

Proper use of the search engine and you should be able to find a number of vendors willing to sell you Linux CDs.

Alternatively take a look at http://www.linuxhq.com/vendors/retailers.html
