Lil' ol' me

Some of the Faculty staff and students will already know me, but I'll introduce myself anyway...

Our old dog, MonsterOriginally from Hervey Bay, I moved up here at the beginning of 1998 to do B.IT - I started mid 1998, and finished at about the end of January 2001 (2.5 years, roughly), graduating in June 2001 with Distinction.

I've worked here at the Faculty since about mid 2000.  I've done some marking and lab/tutorial work, and also made a pretty steady job of web development, existing in an almost endless stream of short contracts for project-type work, before obtaining a full-time position.

As a hobby, I'm into electronics and audio (and still computers, even though I use them all day).  I'm a bit of a Dick Smith junkie, having built amplifiers / active crossovers / speakers from the ground up because it was cheaper than buying new ones.  (Student budget, you understand...) I've also started to gain an interest in photography (take a look at my photo gallery.

So there you have it.  Me in a nutshell.  :)

If you want to get in touch with me, please send an email.

If you've got any questions about the Infocom website, please contact the webteam (that includes myself) - we're here to help.
