·      Provide multidisciplinary educational and research opportunities to build the nation’s health informatics capability and uptake.

Strategy

1.    Find national and international research funding and tender opportunities; prepare grant applications

2.    Maintain relevant curricula and educational resources; deliver quality courses to meet market needs

3.    Engage local health care providers for collaborative research projects

4.    Increase Health Informatics teaching and research staff numbers

5.    Obtain involvement from Informatics and Communication faculty staff

6.    Foster alliances with the Faculty of Arts, Health & Sciences (FAHS)

7.    Involve adjunct professors (located in different states) to foster our research

8.    Work in close collaboration  with stakeholders

9.    Provide leadership to establish and support the IMIA Virtual Global HI University.
